1. Overview Dawn is a free iOS clock app offering bedside clock, Pomodoro focus timer, sleep tracking, alarms, world clock, and widgets. This Privacy Policy explains what data Dawn collects, how it is used, and your choices.

Dawn is supported by advertising. By using Dawn you agree to this Privacy Policy.

1. Apple Health (HealthKit) If you choose to connect Dawn to Apple Health:

Read: Sleep analysis records (to show weekly trends in-app) Write: Sleep durations you record in Dawn (so they appear in the Health app) Health data never leaves your device. It is not sent to our servers, to Google, or to any third party. You can revoke Health permission anytime in iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Health → Dawn.

1. Advertising (Google AdMob) Dawn uses Google AdMob to show occasional splash ads (app launch) and interstitial ads (after a focus session). Ads keep Dawn free.

On first launch, iOS will show an App Tracking Transparency (ATT) prompt. If you tap Allow: Google may use your IDFA (advertising identifier) to show personalized ads. Tracking data is shared with Google ad partners. If you tap Ask App Not to Track: You will still see ads, but they will be non-personalized. No IDFA is shared. You can change your choice anytime in iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking.

Ad tracking is performed by Google. Google’s ad services may interact with the following domains:

1. Analytics & Crash Reporting (Firebase) Dawn uses Firebase Analytics and Firebase Crashlytics (Google services) to understand feature usage and diagnose crashes.

The data collected is anonymous and aggregated:

App open events, screen views, session length App version, iOS version, device model (e.g. “iPhone 17 Pro Max”) Approximate region (country-level) Crash stack traces (no personal data) We do not link analytics data to your identity. We never sell analytics data.

Data Retention On-device data (sleep, focus sessions, alarms, preferences): kept until you delete the app or clear it from within the app. Anonymous Firebase Analytics data: retained per Google’s default of 2 months (events) and 14 months (audiences). Firebase Analytics retention policy. Crashlytics reports: retained for 90 days. IDFA-based ad data: retained per Google’s advertising policies.
2. Your Rights You have the right to:
